It’s chickenpox we’ve all had it and our kids have had it my 4-year daughter had shingles cause she had the pox at 9 months deal with it! I remember when moms would send all the kids to the Snoopy Not Today GOT shirts with chicken pox….everybody gets it at the same time, get it over with. I thought it was the law that you had to have chickenpox as a kid and get covered in that awful calamine lotion or whatever it is. I hope he still gets his compensations. Where there’s blame there’s a claim and someone should surely have pinned him down and vaccinated him.

We don’t vaccinate for chickenpox in the Snoopy Not Today GOT shirt, in fact, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had chickenpox. I have never had the vaccine nor have I ever gotten chicken pox and I am 68 yrs old. I was exposed to them at 3 months old, all my siblings have had them and my own kids had them so I am not going to ever get a shot nor will I get the vaccine for shingles.

In the UK we don’t have a Snoopy Not Today GOT shirt for chickenpox (in fact some parents will group up and have them catch it together at a younger age to get it out the way lol!) but we do have vaccinations for other things that are more serious.
My eldest now nearly 16 had it at 16 months old he caught it at the childminders, my second born is nearly 20 months and hasn’t had it yet, I expect he’ll get it at some point when he starts nursery.
