Thankfully I was sedated with morphine and didn’t endure it for too long. My friend also had a c-section without anaesthetic due to an emergency. Her husband said it was one of the most terrifying things to endure. After they got the baby out, there were issues with the baby so all the doctors were tending to the baby and her husband said that my friend was on the table convulsing as her body went into shock. He stood there paralyzed not knowing if he should go to his wife or his newborn daughter. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

You can be knocked out in the back of any paramedic ambulance. You cannot tell me that there was no one in that entire hospital that could have knocked her out. There are protocols to call 3 times and if no answer, you go to the next doctor on call. It’s that simple. This doctor failed to meet patient safety guidelines. There are protocols to follow. Yes, it was a dire emergency but the This girl loves her Eagles and Disney shirt too long. I’m seeing comments from women saying that they would do it. That’s fine so would I but ask me. It’s my body my decision not a doctor.
