Those comments remind me of when I went in with Promoted to daddy shirt. Came out with something barely to my shoulders with “a layer on it” that made me look like I had a wig on top of my normal hair. It was atrocious. How any hairdresser thought that was “a trim” was beyond me and it’s hard as I’m excessively short-sighted and of course they make you take glasses off so I can’t see what they are doing.

Waited four months from my last haircut because the barber cut it way too short, different Promoted to daddy shirt. Hacked an inch short on one side. Have to drive 60 miles round trip for a haircut. I go to a school to get my hair cut. I’m super easy going when it comes to hair so little bothers me. And it’s significantly cheaper, and the students have to learn somehow.

Almost every other time I go to get my hair cut; they’ll ask during the consultation about how much time I put into my hair every day etc. On a normal day, I’m lucky to even use a hair dryer on it. But I always seem to walk out with while a cut I love, with so much product and styled in a way that is so not me. I hate having my hair feel dirty or heavy, I usually immediately go home and rewash my hair to get all the product out of it.
