Tracking NFL Week 1 gambling results

Week 1 is here! We’ve got a look at where lines closed for Sunday and we’ll be tracking how the games finish. Keep an eye out for bad beats, upsets, and more.

The 2020 NFL season is underway, and people have likely locked in most of their early wagering for Week 1. There is plenty of football into Monday, and in-game betting is only growing in popularity, but your basic point spread, moneyline, and point total bets are or will soon be finalized for much of the schedule.

We’re here to offer a basic recap of what the gambling gods have in store for us to open the NFL season. On Thursday, if you were wagering on the Chiefs 34-20 win over the Texans, the Chiefs covered the 9.5-point spread and the point total went over for anybody who got 53.5 or less. If you bet the Texans to cover the spread or moneyline, well, Sunday is a new opportunity!

Below we’ve listed out closing point spread, point total, and moneyline odds for Week 1’s Sunday slate. We’ll be tracking the results and make sure to note any bad beats, significant upsets, or any other points of note as we all look to cash some winning tickets!

Ravens 38, Browns 6

Point spread: Ravens -7.5 (Ravens cover)
Point total: 47.5 (Under)
Moneyline: Browns +285, Ravens -335

Cleveland kept it close in the first quarter, but Baltimore blew it open after that. Lamar Jackson threw three touchdowns in an efficient day and the Browns offense really couldn’t get anything going.

Jaguars 27, Colts 20

Point spread: Colts -8 (Jaguars win outright
Point total: 45 (Over)
Moneyline: Colts -400, Jaguars +335

It was a stunner! The Colts offense couldn’t get going when it mattered and Gardner Minshew was incredibly efficient in throwing three touchdowns.

Washington 27, Eagles 17

Point spread: Eagles -6 (Washington wins outright)
Point total: 42.5 (Over)
Moneyline: Eagles -265, Washington +230

The Washington defense sacked Carson Wentz eight times and Peyton Barber punched in two touchdowns on offense to secure the win.

Bills 27, Jets 17

Point spread: Bills -6.5 (Bills cover)
Point total: 39.5 (Over)
Moneyline: Jets +240, Bills -278

Josh Allen threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another, leading the Bills with 59 rushing yards. The Jets scored a touchdown in the final minute for the backdoor over on the point total.

Patriots 21, Dolphins 11

Point spread: Patriots -7 (Patriots cover)
Point total: 41.5 (Under)
Moneyline: Dolphins +280, Patriots -335

Cam Newton was efficient in passing while rushing for two touchdowns and the Patriots defense held off the Dolphins late.

Bears 27, Lions 23

Point spread: Lions -2.5 (Bears win outright)
Point total: 42.5 (Over)
Moneyline: Bears +120, Lions -137

Mitchell Trubisky led the Bears to a stunning fourth quarter comeback. He threw three touchdowns, including the game-winner to Anthony Miller in the final two minutes.

Packers 43, Vikings 34

Point spread: Vikings -2.5 (Packers win outright)
Point total: 44.5 (Over)
Moneyline: Packers +115, Vikings -130

Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and Aaron Jones rushed for one in the win. Davante Adams caught 14 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns.

Seahawks 38, Falcons 18

Point spread: Falcons -1 (Seahawks win outright)
Point total: 49 (Over)
Moneyline: Seahawks +100, Falcons -113

Russell Wilson threw four touchdowns and the Seahawks defense locked down the Falcons offense in the red zone.

Raiders 34, Panthers 30

Point spread: Raiders -3 (Raiders cover)
Point total: 48 (Over)
Moneyline: Raiders -155, Panthers +135

Josh Jacobs led the Raiders to a shootout win. Christian McCaffrey had two rushing touchdowns of his own.

Chargers 16, Bengals 13

Point spread: Chargers -3 (Push)
Point total: 41 (Under)
Moneyline: Chargers -148, Bengals +130

Randy Bullock missed a 31-yard FG in the closing seconds as Joe Burrow came up short on a potential game-winning drive.

Saints 34, Bucs 20

Point spread: Saints -3.5 (Saints cover)
Point total: 47.5 (Over)
Moneyline: Bucs +150, Saints -175

Tom Brady struggled with two interceptions in his Bucs debut, and it felt like that was the difference.

Cardinals 24, 49ers 20

Point spread: 49ers -6.5 (Cardinals cover)
Point total: 48.5 (Under)
Moneyline: Cardinals +255, 49ers -295

Kyler Murray had 230 yards with a touchdown and interception and rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown and the Cardinals defense held off the 49ers in the red zone.

Dallas Cowboys @ Los Angeles Rams

Point total: 52
Moneyline: Cowboys -125, Rams +110
