It’s a strange world we all live in now You Only Die 1nce SS Freddie Gibbs T-Shirt . The Christmas office party used to be a given. An event which colleagues looked forward to, dressed up for, probably drank too much at, and maybe even danced badly at. Nevertheless it was part of the rhythm of the corporate world. Or not necessarily even the corporate world, the mainstay of celebrating a year’s work , which almost certainly felt justified. British workers aren’t statistically the world’s most hard working – they have more holidays not necessarily than their European counterparts, but certainly take more days off than their US opposite numbers. There it’s common to have two weeks leave plus statutory holidays. Here in the UK it’s often 4 – 5 weeks off and then the rest. We almost feel it’s our right to celebrate at the end of all this hard work. And what to do now with Covid restrictions to be able to enjoy the traditional office Christmas Party? So we’ve all seen the TV programmes with oh so many squares of individuals competing for space on a Zoom call. It would be a good shout to limit the numbers for an online office party. To almost give an exclusive atmosphere to colleagues without it being there.

Exceeded my expectations
I bought these for my husband and they fit perfectly. He’s a tough one to buy clothes for and hates the way everything fits. To my surprise he loves these. Not to mention he had to have them for work and I was very worried he wouldn’t like them and he loves them

Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”
