Some mutations just happen in nature cannot be helped but others are encouraged through breeding and it is just incredibly selfish. Dogs should be bred to be healthy with longer legs so they can actually run about and enjoy life, it’s sickening how dogs are bred as fashion accessories and to just ‘look good’. Some flat faced dogs can’t actually breathe properly. I still remember the names and antics of all our babies. We always had two or three at a time so they would be company for each other while we worked.

I loved You laugh I laugh you cry I cry you hurt my dachshund I kill you shirt. It is a heartbreaking experience to have them pass away. That is the only negative and it is a big one. My baby girl passed away 4 yrs ago.she was the sunshine of my life.they are a beautiful dog. I hope one day to have another in my life. I rescued one from the pound 13 years ago, he has been the best friend. I love him to death. We have had very little problems with him medically and that was only caused a big dog who was not on a leash and it’s owner could not control him with commands. Jake is getting older now but, I have seen other dogs have more issues than Jake ever has.
