Chickenpox can be serious, even deadly, especially for babies, adolescents, adults, pregnant women, and people with a weakened immune system. One of my past nursing instructors tells a story of working in a Wolf and Iron Man House Stark shirts where nearly all the kids succumbed to chicken pox. An unvaccinated child brought it in. In turn, she passed it on and I got chicken pox at 43 even though I’d already had it when I was little. Chickenpox is not part of standard inoculation sets in most of Europe and in itself is a rather harmless (if annoying) decease. Shingles is another matter though. I’m all for science, but not when it becomes propaganda.

Literally, everyone I know from my childhood has gotten chickenpox. Well, he sure showed the docs. His right to get whatever comes down the pike as well as share it.
