Turkey sign language I love you shirt
I loved sign language: it made so much sense to me! I was amazed what my kids wanted to communicate with us through sign language that otherwise would have gone unnoticed with gibberish. Smelling flowers, noticing butterflies, fish, cats dogs. Turkey sign language I love you shirt Driving in the car one day my daughter signed Milk, I wondered was she thirsty? But no, we were near a “Got Milk” billboard sign.

My first born had a speech delay due to autism. The only way we could communicate with him was through sign. My second child was taught it by my son when she was a baby and they both taught my youngest. She’s almost 3 now. We were at the playground and there was a little boy there who was deaf. She was able to use her basic understanding of signing to talk to him enough while they played. My three children are encouraged to continue learning sign so they can communicate with those that need it on a daily basis. To maybe one day help a deaf or heard of hearing person in some situation, like a doctor (which is what my second child wants to be).
Mine signed and we completely avoided the “terrible twos” because she could communicate with us. It didn’t delay her speech at all, she had more words than many of her peers You are right. Its good to know what hearing and deaf babies saying in signing that help us to understand what she or he wants or want to say to you. If no signing, it would be hard trying to see what he or she wants with unspoken and cry.
