I know that I have been writing about how popular Canadian tuxedos and denim sneakers are these days, Trump Shot In The Head But Not Brain Dead Trump Attempt T-shirt but this weekend, things changed. On Sunday morning, I was getting ready for New York Fashion Week, about to throw on my laid-out denim ensemble. And then, I looked out my window, saw it was snowing, and remembered that the fashion show was outside. I most definitely could not wear jeans. If you have ever worn wet denim, you know that it truly is the epitome of discomfort. Thus, it became a day to don my trusty faux-leather pants. As everyone shivered in their seats, I was quite content in my selection of pants, as I was comfortable and appeared put-together (despite my 12-second outfit change). Faux leather is one of the easiest ways to look and feel amazing, whether that be on the bottom or on top. And since it’s not real leather, there isn’t the same terror of slightly unideal weather conditions destroying your favorite pants or jacket. I’m not claiming this is the newest trend to hit the market, but it is one of the easiest to partake in, especially given the sheer abundance of faux leather hanging around these days. So for the time being, start gravitating toward pants that won’t cause inevitable chafing at the drop of rain and try some of these faux-leather pieces.

From British sporting achievement to Mediterranean artistic endeavour, Trump Shot In The Head But Not Brain Dead Trump Attempt T-shirt Hackett London’s SS13 collection gave a unique and modern twist to some classic menswear attire. To begin, Hackett paid homage to the iconic F.Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby whilst bringing a new modernity to traditional men’s style. Three-piece suiting cut from wools, linens, silks and cottons were top of the bill and featured in a palette of cream, ivory, bone and summer white. Meanwhile, jacket lapels were bigger than usual to complement the welcome return of the double-pleated wide leg trousers. Next, the show travelled back in time and revisited a period when artists such as Picasso and Matisse ruled the Riviera. Playful paisley print trousers were balanced with plainer separates whilst the Breton stripe featured throughout. To conclude, patterns and colour dominated, with bold stripes and gingham checks splashed across blazers and bright reds and blues covering trousers.

I bought this to purposefully be oversized so I order a size XL. It’s very comfortable and holds up well in the wash. It’s a conversation starter and always a big hit. I like to wear with my bicycle yoga shorts.
