With the highly anticipated Oscars awards ceremony coming this month Torey Lovullo wearing end als shirt, movie-buffs all over the world are curious to see whether their favourites will receive just a nomination, or scoop up a much-coveted trophy. However, while there are a plethora of highly-sought after nomination categories for our onscreen heroes to battle it out for, interestingly, there isn’t one for the most awkward movies to watch with your family… Eager to help people avoid an awkward family night in 2024, experts have compared various “awks” factors, such as the number of scenes featuring sex and nudity, the number of people who rated those scenes as ‘severe’ and the number of swear words used, in order to reveal the most awkward movie to watch with family. Despite the many controversial scenes from 2023’s Saltburn causing much debate at the end of last year, the film, starring Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi, didn’t even claim a place within the top five, with the award for the most awkward movie to watch with your family going to The Wolf of Wall Street, with an overall awkwardness score of 9.5/10. A whopping 2,869 people rated the sex and nudity scenes throughout the movie as ‘severe’, equating to 91% of the overall reviews on IMDb, proving that the movie is definitely one to avoid on family film night. It also had the highest number of swear words used out of all movies in the study, 687. In joint second place, with a total awkwardness score of 8.2/10, are the movies Don Jon and Magic Mike. While the latter has seven more scenes featuring sex and nudity, those were rated as being ‘severe’ by just 90 people, amounting to 54% of the people who left a review on IMDb. Interestingly, twice as many people gave Don Jon’s 11 sex and nudity scenes that same rating, which goes to show that this may be one to avoid at your next family movie night! Having been awarded a total score of 7.4/10, fourth place goes to the book to movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. This rather raunchy movie’s seven scenes featuring sex and nudity were rated as ‘severe’ by 77% of the viewers who left a review on IMDb. In terms of swear words, though, the movie had the lowest count out of all movies examined, only nine. And rounding up the top five, with an awkwardness score of 7.1/10, is the star-studded movie A Star is Born (2018). A total of 189 swear words were used throughout the 2 hours and 15 minutes movie duration. And its six sex and nudity scenes earned a ‘severe’ rating from a total of 190 people (494 less than Fifty Shades of Grey), which might make a family watch quite uncomfortable. lease find the complete dataset of all 15 movies analysed .

Birkenstock’s reign as the strappy footwear of choice for fashion-literate men looks like it could be coming to an end in 2024. Torey Lovullo wearing end als shirt It seems like leather fisherman sandals are everywhere we look at the moment, and they’re shockingly versatile. Sure, you can wear them with shorts on a summer vacation, or team them with a plain tee and casual pants at the weekend, but we recently saw The Bear’s Matty Matheson wearing a pair with white socks and a tux on the Emmys red carpet, and honestly, he could be onto something there. For a long time, the prevailing trend in sneakers was to make them as big and as boring as possible. Plain grey suede was (and still is) everywhere, but for those looking to move away from the New Balance 990s and dabble in a bit of colour instead, the re-emergence of 2000s mesh and metallic panelled sneakers will be right up your street. Shoes like the New Balance 1906R and the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 have been pushing the retro-futuristic look, the fires of their popularity stoked by sell-out collabs with Aimé Leon Dore and Jjjjound respectively. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re young (or old) enough for these things to not trigger high-school PE PTSD flashbacks then they go great with things like straight-leg jeans, cargo pants and sportswear. The Oxford shirt never went away. It’s always been there – an ever-present staple in the modern gent’s casual wardrobe. However, it is currently enjoying a fashion renaissance, which means this year could be a good time to stop thinking about the Oxford as a no-frills bedrock piece and start thinking of it as the star of the show. Instead of picking up a ton of Oxfords for cheap from Uniqlo, this year we’d suggest stumping up the cash for at least one ‘proper’ version from a specialist label synonymous with quality. We’re talking Ralph Lauren, Alex Mill, ASKET, Turnbull & Asser, Eton and the like. For extra trend points, buy it oversized and style it half-tucked with mid-wash jeans, a baseball cap and low-profile sneakers like Onitsuka Tigers or Adidas Sambas. For a slightly less casual slant, switch the Sambas for loafers and the jeans for pleated pants.

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.
Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.
Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.
I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.

Good price
These Tee shirts fit as expected. Washed in cold water and tumble dry. Some shrinking due to 100% cotton.

I ordered two of these originally, and they were so nice that I ordered six more. These fit as expected, and the cotton is nice and thick. I highly recommend this product.

Great shirt. Holds up well to many washes. Did not shrink! Worth the purchase for sure!
