I feel the same way with This is my human costume I’m really a cat shirt. I left a bad marriage. Yes, I felt the guilt and still do. But to leave just cause, she was not happy. I have struggled to leave a bad marriage and I have a son, the guilt I felt and the pain he put me through. So yeah I was waiting for a reason why she felt the way she felt. Not good enough. I’m sorry but I disagree completely. It’s her life! Why does anyone need a reason to leave if they are unhappy. God gives us one life, one chance and why waste it on being unhappy. I have 3 beautiful children if anyone of them called me and said they were unhappy with their marriage. I wouldn’t waste one minute on making them stay and trying to figure it out!? The stillness of the water. Materialistic people always want something better. It’s ok to accept defeat when you can’t reach your goals, it’s ok to feel vulnerable from time to time.

What kind of  This is my human costume I’m really a cat shirt are you to make your child feel alone and unloved? Children/ adults Commit Suicide every day. Because of being unhappy. And yes my father is not an easy person to talk to not all parents are the same! So she was afraid to let him down. My father, on the other hand, is nothing like her father, mine is a selfish, heartless, angry, gutless, controlling excuses for a father. Not all parents are the same. Your life with your husband is unfortunate and your story. But I don’t feel sorry for you as much maybe. Because you were so quick to judge someone else and didn’t try to understand. And it’s ok to realize you can’t have it all.
