Thanks to Carrie Bradshaw’s Norma Kamali moment in the first season of And Just Like That.., The Commitment Riley Pettijohn July 6 Shirt form-fitting dresses in bright colors are all the rage and so in demand for wedding season. Not only do I love the juicy shade of Romi’s jersey midi, but I’m also impressed at how she’s made it work for daytime with the simple switch of flat sandals. Bravo, Romi. A palate cleanser to all of the loud and bold styles happening elsewhere this season, a beautiful offering of white dresses can be found on both the high-end and high-street shopping circuits. They might have been big on the runway, but this is a dress staple French women have long since worn in some pretty unexpected ways. In lieu of sandals, Salome gives her ethereal white maxi dress a cool spin with a pair of Louis Vuitton trainers and an oversized Dior canvas tote. If you want to dress like you belong in the South of France, this is how to do it. If you haven’t heard about the coastal-grandmother aesthetic that’s currently sweeping TikTok, let me enlighten you. Many are subscribing to the look laid out in Nancy Meyers films—which are predominantly based by the sea—where the main character’s wardrobe revolves around easy linen separates, natural Breton stripes, raffia accessories, and a soothing color palette. Refer to Sema’s outfit above for the visual representation of the trend. Zingy orange shades are one of the biggest trends of the season, but admittedly, they can be daunting to style. If you’re tentative about trying it for yourself, follow Shaimaa’s lead by pairing an orange top with white trousers. A pair of classic jeans would also do the trick.

In the midst of navigating where I’m heading and where I’m off to next during fashion week in New York (I do, in fact, live here, but getting lost remains my specialty), The Commitment Riley Pettijohn July 6 Shirt I make it a point every season to scope out the cool items that everyone is wearing, specifically looking for ones that pop up again and again. On the apparel side, there were certainly a few repeats, with big-ticket items including scarf coats, distressed leather jackets, full skirts, and anything really that feels ballet-inspired. The handbag selection, however, was by far the main event. Throughout New York Fashion Week, show attendees debuted a vast array of bags, from classic shapes by the likes of Celine, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel to more on-trend silhouettes and accents like bowlers, metallics, and perhaps most prominent, surrealist styles. Knowing the brevity of the handbag moments this season, I took it upon myself to narrow down the trends I spotted most outside of seven days worth of nonstop shows, presentations, and previews this week to the six that feel most relevant and buzzy. Scroll down to see which ones made the biggest impact this season. Fashion week is not the time for bags that don’t flex with your needs. Nearly every stop in your day leaves you with another knickknack of some sort, meaning that your handbag of choice needs to allow for new additions on top of all the essentials fashion week calls for (e.g., hand sanitizer, portable chargers, snacks, and in the case of this season, Rhode’s Peptide Lip Treatment), and for all of that, only an unstructured bag will really do. Luckily, thanks to brands like Khaite, Ree Projects, Bottega Veneta, and more, slouchy, anti-structure bags are a dime a dozen these days.

Money well spent
Heavy cotton material. Very sturdy. Husband is well pleased and feels they are very durable. He says that’s what a man’s tee should be. This a repeat purchase due to his satisfaction with the shirts.

Good for price. Bargain/novelty use, medium to medium/light weight.
Good for general or novelty use, but these are not heavy-weight like upper-end graphic tees. If you want good and heavy t-shirts for work, these are not it.
For embroidering, these do need more stabilizing than the white heavy-duty t-shirts you can get at a certain warehouse store, but I needed a good choice of colors. The colors are rich and the ones I’ve received have had no blotches and the seams have been solid. But I do check every shirt before I work on it.
These do begin to show wear/age after 5-6 washings, but if you just need smart-looking shirts for events like workshops and birthdays, these will do!
