Last week kicked off fashion month, arriving at its first stop: Taxes Are Homophobic T-shirt New York. The street style scene over in NYC is one of the best, in my opinion. Each season, fashion girls step out in the freshest, most forward ensembles to attend the NYFW shows, and, more often than not, it’s their creative looks that end up setting the trend for the rest of the season. Speaking of trends, I’ve already spotted a handful that I just know will stick around long after the last models step off the runway. From all the clean, neutral looks filling up street style galleries all over the internet to the accessory trend that takes any outfit up a notch (or five), I’m sharing the top five trends I’ve spotted already at NYFW—and how to get each of them without spending more than $60. Yes, thanks to our fabulous Who What Wear collection at Target that serves up an array of the freshest trends each month, it’s never been easier to look as cool as all the fashion girls without breaking your budget.

In front of a star-studded audience including Alexa Chung, Dermot O’Leary and David Gandy, Taxes Are Homophobic T-shirt Oliver Spencer presented his SS13 collection at the Old Sorting Office as part of the inaugural London Collections: Men. Inspired by Russian modernism and the work of painter Ben Nicholson, Spencer showed off a refined collection of tailoring, knitwear and jersey pieces in a colour palette of cobalt blue, racing green and burnt orange. Throughout the show, splashes of yellow and green gave suiting a strong contemporary finish, whilst footwear, such as the lace-less grain derby shoes, subtly showcased the designer’s keen eye for detail. An unlined Portland jacket made a welcomed appearance; meanwhile the Fisher Jacket shone brightly with a bold azure blue lining and coated fabric finish. The highlight of the show was the appearance of Topman’s Gordon Richardson, who rocked the runway showing off the best selling Byron navy Travel Jacket.

Bought this, along with the pants, for a friend. He could not have been more pleased. The fabric is very comfy.

Good price
These Tee shirts fit as expected. Washed in cold water and tumble dry. Some shrinking due to 100% cotton.

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.
Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.
Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.
I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.
