You want that racer feel. Another thing they just look alot cooler than naked bikes. Most of us who buy bikes do so because we like the look and we want that thrill you get from a Super bike. I’m sorry but there’s no way I’m taking a Yamaha MT10 over a Yamaha R1, I don’t care how close the performance is. Also most of the time you going to ride any longer than 2 hours without stopping anyway. Naked bikes are cool but Supersports are just far more .

I would suggest buying a car. When I had my R3, I never really had long rides so it wasn’t a big issue but even then, it wasn’t practical since all I had was a bike. Buy a car, no matter how nice the car is, just buy some shit to get you from point a to point b and you can get any sportbike you want since you don’t have to drive it daily. Just on days that you feel like riding which can be every other day or whatever. Cause even my R6 like the one that’s shown here but not in those disgusting colors, they’re uncomfortable as. I’ve been riding for 36 years and in my experience sports bikes are great for short blasts or track days but are harder to service and too focused for most riding you do, ok when really pushing it a sport bike is what you need as it has better handling. But for practicality an up right naked bike is the best bet. Even the cost of insurance is better and the cost of a crash is better. Simple stuff like changing the spark plugs on my old fireblade was a pain, you have to unbolt the seat, tank, coils and little rubber flaps where as the Santa Put The Sportbike On The Chimney Shirt I could remove them without removing anything.
