When it comes to fashion, let’s face it—Parisians do it best. Rise Of The Northstar – Represent The Clan T-shirt They basically wrote the book on effortlessly chic style and have totally mastered having a versatile cool-girl wardrobe. So naturally, when looking for fashion inspiration, I turned to some of my favorite and most fashionable French girls’ Instagram accounts to take notes from the best. Throughout my search on how to have a French-girl summer, I noticed five simple items that kept showing up. Tailored shorts paired with bodysuits and simple tank tops, basic body-con dresses you can wear anywhere, loose trousers, very mini miniskirts, and ’90s-inspired vintage sunglasses seem to be in the closets of every fashion-loving Parisian. Of course, I had to find some of the best examples of these items at my favorite retailers and make a list of my top 30 buys. Since attending the shows back in September, Rise Of The Northstar – Represent The Clan T-shirt I’ve recapped well over 10,000 runway outfits (11,542, to be exact) to discern the looks I’d include in this, our bumper spring/summer 2024 fashion trends overview. Some take more time to spot but others jump off the page. And the pretty palette of sky blue was impossible to pass by. According to Tagwalk, light blue looks were up 19% from spring/summer 2023, with 54% more blue looks featuring in the most prevalent designer collections in each city (said prevalence is based on the share of traffic generated by a designer compared to the total traffic of the city). In short, the big names went big on blue. “Like a breath of fresh air, this breezy shade offers a much-needed dose of serenity to the spring/summer palette,” says Natalie Munro, Who What Wear UK news writer. “Fresh and calm, the soft shade injects a youthful edge that can make your styling feel both spirited and sophisticated. On the runways, Alberta Ferretti and Versace favoured monochrome looks, whilst Stella McCartney and Proenza Schouler wove light creams and whites into their cool-blue styling that I just can’t get enough of.” To further confirm this colour shift, fashion shopping destination Lyst reports that searches for blue pieces spiked 125% in the two weeks following Fashion Month. Coincidence? There’s no such thing.

Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”
