Do you ever find yourself grappling with the age-old dilemma of figuring out your body shape while trying on clothes Raccoon literally just a girl shirt? It’s a common struggle, and believe me, you’re not alone. In fact, even as a personal stylist and color consultant, I’ve had my own share of fashion conundrums. Let me take you on a journey through my own experiences and insights, and show you how understanding your body equation can be a game-changer in your style journey. Here’s the style struggle I answer in this video from a lovely reader: I struggle with what body shape I am. When I try clothes on, my heart tells me one thing but my eyes tell me another. This is probably silly but it worries me and I wish I could feel better. Picture this, before I learned what I know now (aka became an image consultant): I had an affinity for clothing that accentuated an hourglass silhouette. I absolutely loved that look and aspired to emulate it in my outfits. Those fit-and-flare dresses with intricate waist detailing never failed to catch my eye. But here’s the catch—my body wasn’t naturally inclined towards the classic hourglass shape, instead, I’m a straight-up H shape with little waist- definition. Consequently, what I envisioned in my heart wasn’t quite aligned with what I saw in the mirror. The result? A feeling of being ‘off,’ unattractive, and even more than a tad frumpy. This realization led me to a crucial understanding: dressing the body you have today is the key to feeling confident and beautiful. Life is a journey, and so is our relationship with our bodies. It’s not uncommon for our bodies to change over the years, whether it’s due to natural shifts or the impacts of various life stages such as pregnancy and birth to menopause. Reflecting on my own experience, I realized that clinging to an idealized body shape (that I never had) and even the body I had early in my adulthood was limiting and even a tad disheartening. Because I don’t have a defined waist, the oversized top style works for my body (when worn with a slim bottom garment), so there is always an upside for every downside as those body shapes that have the defined waists (X, A and 8) find this trend really doesn’t work for them like it does for the straighter shapes (H, V, O). Celebrate what you have and learn what works for you!

A Goodyear welt is a strip of material (usually leather) that runs around the perimeter of a shoe’s outsole connecting the upper to the insole. Raccoon literally just a girl shirt If you can’t picture that, don’t worry. All you need to know is that this method of construction results in some of the most durable and easy-to-repair footwear out there. Goodyear-welted shoes and boots tend to command high prices, which might put some people off. But factor in the longevity and repairability and those lofty price tags become much more palatable. Cared for correctly, a pair of Goodyear-welted shoes or boots could last you a decade or even more. So even if you spend £400, the cost per wear will be relatively low in the long term. A wool overcoat is one of those rare garments that can be worn with anything and everything. It complements your finery while dressing up more casual pieces, and it hasn’t fallen from fashion since the 18th Century. That makes it a pretty safe bet in terms of being trend-proof. Are you going to be able to pick up a proper wool overcoat on the cheap? Probably not, unless you buy it secondhand or vintage, but even at full price, you might be able to justify the expense to yourself by considering that you’ll likely still be wearing it when you’re in your twilight years. Hell, you could even pass it down to your son, and his son after him. If that’s not an attractive cost-per-wear proposition then we’re not sure what is. Cashmere is one of the most luxurious materials in the world. It’s soft, silky, breathable and three times warmer than regular wool. And that’s not all, because while it does require special care to keep it looking its best, cashmere will hold its shape and resist shrinking far better than wool, making it the better option in terms of long-term wear. Yes, cashmere is expensive, but even if you just have a single cashmere sweater in your rotation, it’s enough to give simple outfits a little touch of luxury. Plus if you buy it in a nice neutral colour, you’ll be able to wear it with lots of different outfits in lots of different ways.

Good fit. Thicker cotton than normal T-shirt
Bought these shirts for yard work/ work out in. The cotton is thicker than a normal T-shirt, but still mildly see-through. This could be from the color though. I am happy with my purchase for the price I paid.
