Tooth fairy. Here is what I tell little kids who are in my family. I lost a tooth! The tooth fairy is going to come and leave money! I tell them, how do you know it’s the tooth fairy? Tell you what, next time you lose a tooth, don’t tell anyone see if this fairy leaves money for you. Some people are like Pineapple Santa Christmas Sweater! Granted I had already been questioning his legitimacy. It’s just no one else’s place to do that but the parent or allow the child to figure it out on their own. Especially first graders!! Let them have an imagination & excitement. I don’t see the harm in believing in Santa & even when it was spoiled to me I wasn’t upset that Pineapple Santa Christmas Sweater. Now that I’m older I love to think back on those memories & that excitement & love seeing my sons excitement when we talk about Santa.
