Let’s as teachers spend that time getting to know our kids, finding their strengths and passions and helping them find the next lesson that enriches them. For the most part, I support the basic curriculum as a foundation for communication, problem-solving, citizenship. But not at the expense of killing the desire to continue learning. We have new information on how to motivate and assist the brain. So we have technology that can broaden our curriculum. We have old common sense and intuition. We can do this. Teachers, parents, we can do this. So good. We, as parents are so much consumed by our children’s grades.
