Great Merry Nursemas 2018 shirt as always! This is why children from my generation had better survival skills because we did not receive the support children receive today. Immigrants came here by themselves with little money and no language skills and survived, that alone amazes me as did my parents who were from even another generation but they learned to maneuver through life no matter how difficult with all its ups and downs. It was difficult because there was no pampering just hard work.

We had more human connection in older generations. That’s the point. People cared a lot more about each other and would help in dire necessity but there was no hand outs everyone pulled his weight. But, compassion and human support was there.
