Unfamiliar can be anything you don’t wear frequently. Kamala Harris The Original Hawk Tuah Shirt It can be patterns, colours, styles of clothing, outfit combinations, accessories, jewellery, shoes … really anything that’s not in your usual outfit rotation. But if you enjoy wearing florals (familiar) and then decide to wear paisley (a stylised floral) this is likely to be unfamiliar, whilst still authentic as they are related prints, versus if you’d decided to wear a large check pattern this may be inauthentic as it’s a very different style of print and may not be a good expression of your personality. Anything unfamiliar can become familiar with time and frequent wearing. One of the reasons you get into a style rut is because you’ve gone all for things that are too similar and too familiar and you become bored with your style (which is why I developed my Evolve Your Style 31 day style challenge, as it helps you to try out unfamiliar items (garments and accessories) and see if they are something you want to try including in your regular wardrobe and style – making them feel more familiar as you work through the month. You will also discover as you do this challenge that some items will be authentic, and others inauthentic. The more you try things outside your current style the larger your comfort zone becomes and so what was unfamiliar can become familiar quite quickly. When I first learned about the power of a large scale necklace to make my large bust look smaller, I was keen to try it out, and what was once unfamiliar, has become something completely familiar and an integral part of my authentic style.

Leopard, snake, zebra, tiger… Kamala Harris The Original Hawk Tuah Shirt At this point, we’ve collectively embraced so many animal prints that I’ve been starting to wonder how many more can possibly fit on Noah’s F/W 18 ark. No longer being ushered forth calmly two by two, animal prints are being rushed onto store shelves as quickly as we fashion people are buying them, so it’s no surprise we’ve started seeing a certain less-expected print moseying into the fold. I’m talking, of course, about cow print (and its closely related cousin, dalmatian print). It makes sense, when you really think about it, given fashion’s current fixation on all things Wild West. It’s a bold pattern, to be sure, but the color scheme is neutral (no pink cow prints, at least as far as I’m aware of), meaning it’s an easy one to work into your existing wardrobe without risking being arrested by the style sheriff. Keep reading to see and shop some of my favorite cow-print pieces.

This is why you buy
Purchased August 2020, ‘heavy cotton’ 100% cotton, color ordered and received is pure white, made in Nicaragua, with no odor when new. Fabric is thick enough to be opaque and not so small to be form fitting (I am pretty wide), suitable for wear as a shirt as well as an undergarment. My XL was really an XL-long which means it has a long trunk section that will not come un-tucked (plumbers crack for instance) but not so long it looks odd if you wear it un-tucked. Double stitching at seams with an arm length slightly above the elbow. This is ideal for applying company logos, or tie dye. Perfect for a full figured male (or female) or a thin person who doesn’t want a clingy fit. Completely satisfied.
