Awesome Drama teacher told a friend of mine that I wasn’t much of an actor, my brother-in-law said that I would never make a living singing, my sister would always tell me that I was ugly and another family member said that I was too old to start college at the age of 53. And as a result, I am an Emmy Nominated Actress/Singer, toured in Europe singing, performed in Asia in the best hotels in the world. Performed for Presidents, Ambassadors, and more. I was blessed to have made a good living producing shows and performing. I put my kid through private school including an international boarding school for the performing arts.

I finally learn that I had to find my beauty Just a girl who loves sunflowers shirt within while others raved about my beauty on the outside. Next month I will graduate with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts… and in the spring will release a historical fiction music audiobook. It wasn’t easy, and life still isn’t easy, But God is good, and life is good. My advice is to never get advice from anyone that does not have a vision or have not been where you are trying to go. As Quincy Jones once said to me. If you can see it, you can be it. So I’m taking those exact words right to the bank.  Way to rise above!
