I loved this movie as a child and the Jug Band Road Emmet Otter Sweatshirt! I since purchased the DVD and tried to recreate the nostalgia with my family, unfortunately my children and husband were unimpressed. But every year I still play it, and love it just as much as I did as a kid! It has been my favorite ever since it first came out. My son still loves it and bought it for his kids. Definitely the family favorite.

We just watched this Sunday! It was my 1 year old’s first time watching it and he loved it! My sister and I used to watch this when we were kids and have now passed this to our own children. Absolutely love it the Jug Band Road Emmet Otter Sweatshirt! My favorite when I first viewed it in 1981. Now my grown children’s favorite who will share it with their children. So sweet and innocent. Great music! If you haven’t watched them, the “outtake” scenes are hysterical. They are on YouTube as well as the DVD.

Just watched this 2 days ago, but the cd I have is actually cut if you can believe that. When Ma is talking to Gretchen Fox, they cyt the end where she tells her to fall off the dock and the Jug Band Road Emmet Otter Sweatshirt. Watch the original vhs if you can find it, I still have mine. This is just the cutest movie. My oldest children are 39&36. This was their favorite. I hired the boy next door to babysit them when they were little and he would watch it with them. He loved it too. When he grew up and was getting married, I bought him a copy and gave it to him as part of his wedding gift. His children watch and love it now!
