Unfortunately, this is the reality of In a world full of grinches be a Cindy Lou who shirt. That’s what my job has boiled down to as well. There is so much pressure to “lock” our notes and treatment plans so they can bill. The quality of our service has to suffer. I may be earning a little less but the work is so much more rewarding as I get to do what I trained for and hopefully help make a positive difference.
I take bullet point case note on the spot and then load them as a pdf with a case not saying ” see attached file note” cuts my case note time For n half. As a carer, I have to generate often duplicated paperwork to feed into the reports. Multiply that by an SW’s caseload and supervisions of carers. Sadly too many important jobs like yours, and the police etc have so much admin to do. It’s ridiculous, we need to get back to grassroots.
