Absolutely I would have stopped. I recently had a really bad accident while walking my dog. I came alert , called a friend and went to the ER. If you see someone in distress, lying on the ground, please stop and help. I also could have lost my small dog to traffic. I would have absolutely stopped. What she did was extremely brave and admirable. She certainly should be honored by that Police Dept. and town. I would love to have her in our town. There really are outstanding standup people out there. Espically Grandmother’s. Well done. I am sorry this happened to you but so glad you had a friend to come and rescue you and your little dog.

Thank You for the reminder if we see someone in trouble to either go help or get someone who is more capable to help. Do not just leave them to fend for themselves. I hope you heal fast and thank you to your Friends and the Medics who helped You in ER. I heard a story this lady was stabbed numerous times and bleeding walking and asking for help and no one would help her. She managed to make it 10 blocks and crawling at this point and she died on the stairs leading to her apartment. If you don’t want to stop and help at least call 911. A life is a life!. It’s a sad times these days.people have become so absorbed in themselves that they just plain do not care for others.but by and large these same ones expect you to stop And help them.a few years back people had more compassion for other but due to so many law suits they quit trying to help.
