No one can argue against the cultural relevance of the last decade; in many ways, Harris Obama 2024 Kamala Harris And Michelle Obama Campaign T-shirt it was filled with the most rapid changes in the zeitgeist humanity has ever seen. From the emergence of social media to the rise of social and political movements, the world as a whole changed in inconceivable ways—including the fashion industry. We’ve witnessed massive upheaval within the industry like Barney’s closing its doors and strides toward a more inclusive fashion industry, so it would be an understatement to say that the past decade was at all predictable. But through it all, we could always count on style; specifically, we could rely on style icons to always serve us up a look. And oh boy, did they put in work. Ahead you’ll find 20 women whose personal style helped to define the 2010s in fashion. Honestly, you can’t round up looks of the past decade without speaking to the downright odd outfits that the decade produced—including Lady Gaga’s one-and-only meat dress. It should be noted that Gaga’s style has evolved over the decade and she’s come to wear gowns you can buy at Bergdorfs instead of the grocery store, but this look truly speaks to the time in which style went not only avant-garde but became a way to speak about the issues facing the times. Not only was the past decade filled with contemporary looks, but it had its historical moments too—like when Kate Middleton married Prince William and became the Duchess of Cambridge. Not only did we get to witness the royal wedding of the decade, but watching the duchess make her way down the aisle in this Alexander McQueen gown was just a taste of all her stylish and classic moments to come.

Fast forward to the present day and the classic NB style is now in its sixth iteration, Harris Obama 2024 Kamala Harris And Michelle Obama Campaign T-shirt having settled into its role as the brand’s flagship premium lifestyle sneaker. The 990v6 is the lightest, cushiest, sportiest (and priciest) version yet, featuring New Balance’s FuelCell cushioning, which is usually reserved for its top-flight running shoes. It’s also the first 990 to be designed in conjunction with new New Balance Made in USA creative director Teddy Santis, perhaps better known as the founder of label of the moment Aimé Leon Dore. If the 990v6 owes its lineage to NB’s heritage models, the 1906R looks in the opposite direction for its inspiration. Decidedly futuristic, with just a hint of 1990s PE teacher thrown in for good measure, this mesh-and-metallic masterpiece has taken the sneaker world by storm. There have been some great collaborations, but there is also a wealth of general-release colourways that anyone can get their hands on – not just those who know their way around a raffle. The original 2002 launched to a somewhat underwhelming reception back in 2010. Customers just weren’t interested, perhaps partly due to the high price tag and partly to it simply not being the right time. What’s certain is that it didn’t have anything to do with the shoe’s design, because when it relaunched as the more accessibly priced 2002R in 2020, it quickly became one of the hottest shoes on the market. The ‘Protection Pack’ release of this shoe proved particularly popular, featuring a deconstructed, dishevelled look, marked by the jagged overlaid panels and uneven, asymmetric lines throughout. We think it’s a great option for anyone looking for an off-kilter alternative to classic NB styles like the 990, 991 or 992. It has hints of all three but at a much more affordable price point. This low-top silhouette is a relic from New Balance’s first foray into the world of basketball. While it wasn’t exactly a slam dunk on the court in 1989, it has since found a new audience on Instagram explore pages and #fashiontok feeds.

Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”
