I was blessed today to spend most of the day with Sweetikins, as we were celebrating in Lincoln an early Thanksgiving dinner with friends from Mason City. How early do you buy your turkey for Thanksgiving? I am starting to see those plump birds in every store. This time of year we used to have turkey shoots. We would shoot at a target and the person who came closest to the middle was the winner. I won 2 or 3 of these but only with a .22.
