Screen printed t-shirts really start to make their presence felt in the 1950s. Funeral Grey String Shirt This is very significant when it comes to screen printed t-shirts and the origins of the custom tee. The garment that started out as a simple undershirt to be worn under military uniforms takes a more prominent role in the years following World War II. Civilians start wearing them as standalone tops and it’s not long before the idea of custom printed t-shirts emerges. Screen printing had taken root in the United States during the 1930s and by the Fifties, companies in Miami are printing promotional t-shirts with the names of resorts and local attractions. Screen printing takes a huge leap in the Sixties when it becomes synonymous with the Pop Art movement. Works by artists such as Andy Warhol not only publicise screen printing, they open it to a mass market.
Funeral Grey String Shirt ,hoodie, sweater, longsleeve and ladies t-shirt
Kingteeshops Cotton t-shirt that I received is actually a 50% cotton 50% polyester blend Funeral Grey String Shirt. It’s a vibrant blue American Apparel v-neck t-shirt. I think that the official color is Neon Heather Blue. Anyway, whatever it’s called, I like it. It’s definitely a blue that I would wear and the poly-cotton blend is light and soft. Perfect for my climate (Okinawa is hot and humid). The print is perfect and light. The ink on the breasts of the tits (birds) is a little heavy but it is a small area. My guess is plastisol screenprint. I like the t-shirt but I don’t really understand the design. There are two cute birds on a wire with yellow breasts. These birds are around the upper stomach area and above that is the text: I like your tits. I understand the innuendo here. There are some birds of the tit variety.
So “I like your tits”, which you would expect to be a comment referring to a part of a woman’s anatomy, is actually innocently referring to birds. But it doesn’t really make sense because people don’t have tits (birds) as pets as far as I know and if they are referring to the birds on the t-shirt shouldn’t the text read “I like my tits”. It only makes sense that if the tits I am referring to are on my t-shirt that they would be mine. Perhaps if the text read “Do you like my tits?” it would be better. Or perhaps “Great Tits” as the Great Tit is a species of tit. At least, they would make sense. Still, as a guy, I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing any of these slogans. I’m not sure that there are too many women who would want to wear this t-shirt either.

Quality shirts that fit well.
Got these for daily use for work and they fit well and are well made, not cheap thin shirts. I wish these came in a larger 5 pack for a more economical buy. Good luck and cheers.

The shirt was 2x, but fit like 1x. The shirts evidently run smaller than ordered. For it to fit right I should have ordered a 3x to get the right fit. The shirt its self is Beautiful! I love cats and that’s why I ordered it. But because it’s too small I cant enjoy wearing it.The shirts are not true sizes

I Love kingteeshops
They fit me so well and they come in a variety of colors providing me with something different to wear every day. I order at least two pairs in different colors every week and I will continue to do so.

Well made, looks good as plain white t-shirt, excellently priced.
Nothing fancy, but a well made, inexpensive comfortable, mid to heavy weight plain white t-shirt. Floridians and those in warm climates might find it uncomfortable to wear as an undershirt– but perfect as a regular going around outside t-shirt year round. Heavier (and should be longer lasting) than a simple haines or jockey white thin undershirt. The white is very white, I am ordering grey today. I would buy these at double the price on Amazon.
