Look, this is really great and exceptional work and I know that this type of Dinosaur soccer mom before the game soccer mom during the game shirt in the cake industry but it isn’t a damn cake. It’s a Rice Krispy and fondant sculpture. But, I wouldn’t call this a cake maybe a rice crispy sculpture. I bake cakes myself nothing like this as I don’t quite have the skill for this. It is incredible but, it’s not a cake. This cake was for her daughters birthday party, the back of it was most likely cake, which would have been enough to feed at least 20 to 30 people. But, there was another cake, and she has used these cakes as teaching devices, for your viewing pleasure and others to learn from.

I don’t understand why people make cakes or other foods so fancy! So much time spent into it and it gets eaten! Plus the cost is probably outrageous also. It’s a beautiful piece that shows off her artistic abilities, but I wasn’t too fond of the paint job halfway thru, it looked sort of sloppy when it was dripping everywhere. Yet to me cake implies cake. Not rice Krispies covered in fondant.
