It’s hosted by Celeste Barber, better known for her comedic takes on celebrity instagram posts Did You Say Yutes Shirt, who discusses with many iconic Australian designers and fashion insiders all about the clothes we have chosen to wear over the past 100 or so years. It’s a fascinating documentary that points out that what you wear is a political statement as well as a personal one. If you worry that caring out what you wear is shallow, watch this to discover just how impactful your outfits may be on both yourself and society. As part of the 2023 NGV Triennial, French couture house Maison Schiaparelli presents a selection of eight dramatic and impeccably crafted garments designed by artistic director Daniel Roseberry. Drawn from recent couture collections, the works are displayed alongside an eye-catching selection of Schiaparelli surrealist jewellery and accessories. Since his debut autumn-winter collection for Schiaparelli in July 2019, artistic director Daniel Roseberry has been at the forefront of contemporary fashion culture. The NGV Triennial presentation highlights Roseberry’s interest in pushing the boundaries of couture practice, his belief in fantasy and his view that art and fashion can question, shape and address the concerns of contemporary life. The works on display reflect the intersections between his contemporary vision for the Maison Schiaparelli and the design codes and legacy of founder and namesake Elsa Schiaparelli (1890–1973). Highlights include Look 25, Nuage (cloud) dress from the Transformations autumn-winter 2019 collection. Meters of billowing and ballooning fabric defy physics to create a cloud-like illusion. Aided by an internal hand-forged metal structure, the material hovers above the wearer before morphing and torquing the body to from a minidress. For Roseberry, the collection was an exploration of ‘volume and freedom and [a] celebration of the body’.

Day 4 Paris Fashion Week was the last day for me this season. Did You Say Yutes Shirt The pictures in today’s article were taken at the Leonard Paris, Issey Miyake and Giambattista Valli shows. The floral dress is back on the streets this season and not just because of Leonard Paris. Open backs are continuing to be a trend – something we saw already last Spring/Summer. Lacy two pieces are also a very hot item this season – despite there only being one picture here, they were often spotted throughout Paris this Fashion Week. Let’s talk denim. It has made a real comeback throughout both Paris and Milan Fashion Week’s this season. Not that denim is ever out but it was hardly spotted last season. I’ve been reading a lot about the current denim jeans trends and the advice tends to get confusing to say the least so I’m keeping this basic for you. Wear any denim jeans you have with the exception of super skinny and distressed jeans. Leave them at the back of your wardrobe for when they resurface on the trend list – it’s only a matter of time! Yes, waists are trending lower but wide legged high waisted jeans look so good it would be a shame not to wear them! This season it’s time to get out any colourful shoes you may have. Kitten heels, sling backs and beautifully tailored knee high boots are hot, hot, hot! Of course do be sure to have a pair of Mary Jane’s in your wardrobe. I’m still on the lookout for a pair – smile! Last but not least, this season is all about matching. Matching shoes with patterned skirts, matching bags to dresses, the list goes on. Check out the matching pieces to follow. Absolutely love this shirt! Great quality, doesn’t shrink into a square (short and wide at the stomach) retains shape, and a beautiful design. High quality. Bought both colors, purple for my sons and black for myself. All 3 were same great quality.

These cotton t-shirts have a nice feel to them.
I did NOT try them on before I washed them and my 2XL t-shirts fit perfectly, but I do believe they shrunk about 1/2 size from just looking at them but boy do they feel nice when you put them on!!

Fits well, retains it’s shape once washed. Fabric is not too thick, it’s great for either hot summer or cool summer days that have lots of wind. Vusually it’s a fun tee shirt, my husband just loves all the creatures on it. He wanted to wear it immediately.
