Hello from super humid and hot India! Thunder of yesterday evaporated all in humidity hehe. Soon after we met the spanish couple we had met at the train station… and what a delight that was. We decided to go around to see different temples together.

It was so nice to have company among all the chaos and people trying to talk to you for something all the time! We then went to Manikarnika Ghat a.k.a. the burning ghat… one of the ghats along the Ganga river in Varanasi. It was truly an intense experience! The fire they use is taken from the sacred eternal flame and only through that fire and the holy Ganga river, the dead person receives salvation to heaven. After we went to Assi Ghat where every day, an aarti ceremony takes place.
