We’re free to change the people in charge of that political will every few years if they aren’t doing what we want. Really? Have you flown on an airplane lately? Are there any military bases in your state? Have you ever received a federal tax refund? Have you driven on an Interstate lately? So why is this the government’s responsibility and not yours? But I think this same understanding extends to most aspects of life.
