Margot Robbie’s Groovy Look Channels Sharon Tate

In Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Margot Robbie portrays Sharon Tate, the late actress who rose to fame in the 1960s in cult-classic films, such as Valley of the Dolls. A supporting element in the feature: the groovy wardrobe Robbie wears while in character. She embodies Tate’s mod style with pieces such as calf-length boots, leather trenches, and mini skirts. But even off-screen, Robbie is keeping that 1960s aesthetic going during the movie’s press tour.

Last night, Robbie hit the premiere’s after-party in London wearing one seriously chic two-piece that channeled her latest role: in an all-over neutral floral print, the silky ensemble by Matteau recalled the ’60s flower-power aesthetic that Tate so fabulously embodied during the decade. To give it a more current spin, though, the actress paired her clothing with golden Loeffler Randall mules that had an oversize bow detail—the perfect evening accessory—as was her satin bag with a dainty chain strap.
