Long Jacket, Itty-Bitty Bra: Emily Ratajkowski Puts a New Twist on Fall Suiting

Suiting has never been so enticing. This summer, that 9-to-5 look has been entirely twisted to be less corporate, more cool. It girls from Gigi Hadid to Hailey Bieber have styled the blazer in offbeat ways, giving it a more youthful feel in the process. Hadid did it with bike shorts, while Bieber opted for an all-over floral suit. It seems this footloose executive look is officially in, and it’s carrying well into fall, too, as the runways were filled with all different styles, textures, and proportions.

The latest celebrity to get on board? Emily Ratajkowski—and leave it to the model to give the two-piece a further twist by forgoing a stuffy button-up underneath in favor of a more skin-revealing top. Hitting the streets in New York City today, Ratajkowski walked right by the “F” train in a long black tuxedo coat with classic trousers, shaking up the conservative combo with a white bra top tied across her rock-hard abs.

Ratajkowski accessorized with a structured top-handle bag and strappy, barely-there heels, which she tied around her pant leg—another catwalk-inspired styling trick for the popular model, who we will soon be seeing much more of at New York Fashion Week.
