Kim Kardashian West is always ahead of the curve when it comes to fashion trends. She ignited the craze for flip-flop heels earlier this summer. Then, as soon as the first leaf fell from the tree, it was time for a brand new fall proposition: flared pants. The trendsetter started wearing bell-bottoms and, soon after, everyone from Margot Robbie to men like Harry Styles followed suit. But just because others have joined the party doesn’t mean the star is ready to hang up her groovy pants. She just upped the ante by stepping out in an ultra daring pair.
Spotted in Miami today, the reality star and business mogul wore a pair of flared pants that were very reminiscent of an early 2000s Roberto Cavalli (and given her obsession with all things vintage, they may very well just be). With a snakeskin-like texture and lacing up the sides and front, the skin-tight—and skin-baring!—trousers took bodycon dressing to a whole new level. She styled her bottoms in a casual way, though, pairing them with a white “Miami Beach” tee. (Talk about dressing to location.) Kardashian West knotted her top at the back for added shape—a clever styling trick to take a top from frumpy to form-fitting. To finish off the look, she then added thong stilettos (yes, she’s still wearing them) and round retro shades.
