Kendall Jenner Steps Out in the Ultimate Winter Boot

A winter shoe is possibly the toughest accessory to nail. It needs to be practical, water and slip-resistant—and it needs to look cute, too. (Duh.) And while fall’s footwear offering is all about chic knee-highs and slouch boots, those can be too precious to wear in the midst of a snowstorm. But fear not! Kendall Jenner just stepped out wearing the ultimate winter-ready boot—and it’s already shaping up to be a major trend with other stylish celebrities, too.

Spotted in New York City yesterday, the model hit the streets in Prada’s lace-up combat boots with extremely chunky lug soles. The hefty shoes offer much-needed grip for navigating the city in slushy conditions, but also added a dash of edge to her ensemble, which consisted of a streamlined blazer, graphic turtleneck, classic jeans, and her most-worn accessories: tiny sunglasses and a ’90s-style shoulder bag. But it was her punky shoes that were the standout—having already been worn by other trendsetters such as Bella Hadid, it’s clearly shaping up to be the must-have boot of the season.
