Have you ever stood in front of your closet, surrounded by heaps of clothes Warrant Band Glam Metal Band Music And Art Tour Shirt, yet still unsure of what truly reflects your personal style? You find yourself second-guessing whether your choices are genuinely yours or merely a reflection of others’ expectations. Well, you’re not alone. Many of us face this perplexing dilemma, often influenced by societal norms, friends, family, or even past relationships. In fact, this is a common struggle, not limited to just one gender. I recall a conversation with a male client who, post-divorce, grappled with deciphering his own taste in clothing, uncertain if it was his or his ex-wife’s who had bought a lot of clothing for him during their many years of marriage. So, if you too wonder if what you have in your wardrobe is your own taste, or that of friends, family, and influencers (who tell you that you “must have” a bunch of the latest trends in your wardrobe) rest assured that this confusion is a part of the journey to finding your true style identity. Let’s delve into the importance of understanding your values. For some, who have a strong value for Connection, conforming and fitting in is paramount, and they might choose clothes that align more with the group’s preferences rather than their personal liking. Alternatively if you value Freedom more highly, then you don’t need or want to conform, instead you will want to figure out how freedom impacts your style choices. Is it freedom of movement? Freedom of expression? Freedom from conformity? Recognizing your values in clothing choices is crucial. In my 7 Steps to Style online program, I emphasize the significance of comprehending how your values influence your fashion preferences it’s an integral part of one of my 7 steps. This understanding can aid you in discerning whether your choices resonate with your genuine self or cater more to external expectations. Values impact all your choices, and when you’re out of alignment with your values in your wardrobe or clothing choices you won’t feel good or confident. Knowing what your values are and then how you apply them to your wardrobe is really valuable as it helps to keep you on the right sartorial path. Making decisions about what to buy and wear is always easier when you can run your values past that decision, you’ll immediately know if something is in alignment or out. One of my top values is Independence, which means one way I like to express this is to customise clothing (I did the Sashiko stitching and patching on these jeans) so that it’s completely unique and individual. I also have a hairstyle that is not too common and am always looking to trying to combine my clothing into new and different outfits.

Everything you own comes from a choice you’ve made when shopping (or if someone gave you something, a choice to keep the item). Warrant Band Glam Metal Band Music And Art Tour Shirt It is from these items that you’ll be making your decisions each morning on what to put on. If you hate shopping and buy “it’ll do” clothes then you’re unlikely to be feeling good when you’re putting any outfit together. If you buy wardrobe orphans that don’t go with anything else you own, you’ll find it tricky to put stylish outfits together. If you have a wardrobe full of clones, basically the same item over and over, you may be super bored with your style and its lack of variety. What do you keep and what do you cull? Do you have clothes in your wardrobe that are a decade or more old that you haven’t worn for a long time as you don’t like to let things go?. Or do you cull regularly and sometimes let go of things that you later regret?. Can you see what you have because your wardrobe is not overstuffed?. Can you find what you own easily? Wardrobe organisation also impacts how easy it is to put outfits together, to find items quickly, and to see the different outfit options in front of you. For example, if you have multiple clothes on one hanger, you won’t remember what’s at the bottom, so will likely never wear the item, as if you can’t see it, you won’t wear it!. Having accessories easily visible and available also means you are more likely to wear them, than if they are tangled together in a box out of sight. If you can’t find something, you can’t use it in an outfit. When wardrobes are disorganised you’ll find it so much more difficult to put a stylish outfit together. Like cooking a meal, you need to know at least something, like what’s your main ingredient. My process varies much more, sometimes I will dress from a specific garment, such as a jacket. Sometimes, it’s a colour that I feel like wearing, and other times it may be an accessory that I want to wear that I’ll base my outfit around. Sometimes it’s a feeling (such as comfort). It varies but usually there is something that is a motivator for the whole outfit.

Purchased this t-shirt in a men’s small for my 11-year old son who has a solid build (not obese). It fits him perfectly. He loves it. I love it. My husband plans to buy himself one of these shirts. The material is top quality. My son says it’s “the best feeling t-shirt” he’s ever worn. It’s a very nice soft cotton. Highly recommend you purchase one.
