After spending the first few months of 2021 in the U.K. lockdown, Maybe I Can Fix Him shirt house-bound with very little reason to dress up, I’d forgive you for thinking you never wanted to see a pair of leggings again. And if so, you’re not alone. As we slowly emerge from our collective hibernation and restrictions begin to ease across the country, there seems to be a renewed sense of enthusiasm that comes with getting dressed. Whether it be popping out for a quick coffee with a friend or venturing to your local park, Brits are finding reasons to dress up. Proving exactly this sentiment, last month, photographer Michaela Efford and I ventured to East London’s Broadway Market (a hot spot for fashion lovers, if you don’t already know that) in search of some stylish individuals to photograph. On our way, we serendipitously came across familiar influencers, models-off-duty, fashion designers, and other creatives, all of whom were strolling through their local shopping strip with style to boot. From vintage leather jackets to spring-ready floral dresses and Converse high-tops by the dozen, keep scrolling to see what women are really wearing in London right now.

Utilising the idea of curiosity and fruitful humour, Maybe I Can Fix Him shirt Jack Spade have released their brand new Christmas guide, designed to make the old age problem of choosing the perfect gift a little bit easier. Featuring a range of the brands festive recommendations, the aptly named ‘Ice Cold Gifts’ utilises the mock penguins and ice cubes to relay a rather arctic tone. Characterised against a sharp blue backdrop, the selection offers us a little more than a fruitful chuckle; a few gems include a blue and white dress scarf and boar skin document brief – unfortunately, the latter does not include the squirrel… You can’t have it all can you?. As award season draws near and excuses to dress up and celebrate fast approaches, it’s reassuring to come across the new evening wear capsule collection from Acne Studios and Mr Porter. The 14 piece collection based around the classic tuxedo, features smoking jackets, trousers, an overcoat, formal shirting as well as bow ties and shoes. As expected there’s an elegant mix of luxurious fabrications accompanied by great attention to detail. Bespoke jacquard fabrics and silks are used alongside wool and velvet, offering a pleasurable and lavish feel you’d expect and wish for. This collection provides everything a gent could need for evening attire. Acne’s founder, Mr Johnny Johansson, believes that with the tuxedo ‘everything becomes elegant’ – I think I would have to agree with him on that.

Great value
Price for them is unbeatable. Seem well made. Very comfortable. And longer than average t-shirts, which is a change from the short t-shirts I usually end up with
