In fact, the only shoes I owned for most of my teenage years were my brown leather lace-up school shoes (ugly) and when I asked my mother to buy me some other shoes, she said that it wasn’t worth it as my feet were growing too fast. What I heard was “You’re not worth it.” This mindset lingered for years, making it challenging to pay full price for anything. It’s a pattern many of us might recognize: a reluctance to treat ourselves with the value we deserve. Our early experiences can etch this mindset deeply into our subconscious.

True story: I moved back to the East Coast from Los Angeles a couple of years ago, Hot Trump Head Donald Trump 2024 Fight Trump Shooting T-shirt and for my first month here, it rained almost every day. Coming from a place where it typically rains once in a blue moon, I was thoroughly unprepared. Before the bulk of my wardrobe arrived, I was armed with a denim jacket, and the closest thing I had to rain shoes was a pair of Everlane loafers. I felt like a fool surrounded by prepared east-coasters in goulashes and anoraks. So it got me thinking about how I can pre-plan for rainy days in the future—while still looking cute (naturally). The shirt looks exactly like the picture. It is true to size(I got a 2XL to be oversized and it goes to around mid thigh)and the material is thick and seems durable. It did not shrink(or at least not noticeable) after washing.
