Lil Uzi Vert’s Birthday Style Is Even More OTT Than You’d Expect

If Lil Uzi Vert will turn a look even in the dentist’s chair, then you know that he’s going to go all out by the time his birthday rolls around. At the turn of the month, Uzi celebrated his 25th birthday at the Moxy Hotel in New York City, surrounded by friends including rappers Gunna and Wale, and today on Instagram Uzi shared more behind-the-scenes shots of his big night.

Uzi matched his bright red patent leather bucket hat and jacket to his customized Bugatti painted in the very same shade (he apparently bought the car from former boxing champ Floyd Mayweather for close to two million dollars), but what proved most impressive is the array of jewelry that Uzi assembled for the occasion.

The rapper not only showed off glittering grills and some intricate diamond-encrusted rings, but he also flaunted layers upon layers of new gold and diamond chains. One particularly attention-grabbing piece held up a cross-shaped pendant covered in dusty gold roses. Uzi has already solidified his title as Instagram’s best and most thorough outfit chronicler, as his slideshows capture each element of his brand-conscious ‘fits in perfect detail. Now he’s entering the big leagues when it comes to his underrated fine jewelry collection, too.
