Donatella Versace Perfects the Thanksgiving Fashion Selfie

Every family has their Thanksgiving holiday traditions—even, it seems, the storied Italian fashion dynasty of Versace. Currently in New York shooting an upcoming campaign, Donatella Versace has taken to Instagram to post her looks over the last few days, which are just as fabulous as you would expect: one snap shows her taking to the sidewalk in a head-to-toe black leather look consisting of a trench coat, thigh-high boots and the brand’s Virtus bag, while in another, she shows off a beaming smile while sporting an eye-popping green felt coat with a hot pink faux fur collar. (All Versace Fall 2019, naturally.)

And yesterday, to truly get into the Thanksgiving spirit while enjoying her time stateside, she upped the ante even further. Reclining in a chair and wearing a black rollneck sweater and neon pink skirt, she showed off her latest (and delightfully tongue-in-cheek) purchase: a pair of giant novelty slippers in the shape of trussed turkeys.
